An integrated approach to oil spill preparedness and response : proceedings of a conference held on November 28 and 29, 2005, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador / Prepared by Leslie Grattan & Associates...: NE22-4/165E-PDF

The planning and organization of a response to a major oil spill is a topic of continuing interest, concern and development. It is critical to understand the lessons learned from experiences elsewhere in the world and apply them in a local context. To this end a conference bringing together Canadian and international experience and expertise was held in St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador in late 2005. This report records the proceedings of that conference in some detail.
