The objectives of this study are: 1. To determine how the Atlantic Canada region, as a whole, would rank within the UN HDI [Human Development Index] relative to: a) Canada as a whole; and b) The other industrialized countries ranked by the UN, especially those constituting the G7. 2. To rank Atlantic Canada as a whole according to the indicators used for industrialized countries in the UN HDR [Human Development Report] study.--Page 2
