FluWatch is Canada's national surveillance system that monitors the spread of influenza and influenza-like-illness (ILI) year-round. Ongoing surveillance of influenza in Canada helps us to understand influenza activity, severity of the infection in individuals and impact of the illness on Canadians. A surveillance report summarizing influenza activity in Canada is posted online every Friday (during active influenza season).
