"The Public Health Agency of Canada (the Agency) has developed this document to provide infection prevention and control guidance to healthcare organizations and healthcare workers (HCWs) for: management of patients presenting to acute care settings in Canada, who have travelled to an affected area and/or been in contact with someone who has travelled to an affected area, within 14 days before onset of illness; management of HCWs and inpatients who have been exposed to a symptomatic confirmed case of MERS-CoV infection; and management of asymptomatic HCWs and inpatients who are RT-PCR positive for MERS-CoV"--P. 1.
