Results of the census of Manitoba as reported at the Census of the Prairie Provinces taken June 1, 1946. Volume 1 is the Census of Agriculture for Manitoba and forms part of Volume IV of the Census of the Prairie Provinces. Volume 2 contains the basic characteristics of the gainfully occupied and wage-earner population of Manitoba. Volume 3 gives for Manitoba the final statistical results of the Census of Population and forms part of Volume I of the 1946 Census of the Prairie Provinces. Volume 4 contains for Manitoba, statistical tables derived from the Population Census relating to dwellings, households and familities as well as material dervied from the separate Housing Census taken in conjunction with the Population Census but limited to centres of 5,000 population and over. It forms part of Volume III of the 1946 Census of the Prairie Provinces.
