"In 2016, eight of the ten largest import markets for salmon products were in the European Union, including the largest, Sweden. Overall, European Union countries imported a grand total of US $8.7 billion in salmon products in 2016, with US $5.9 billion being imported from the world. Most of these imports originated in Norway, which has access to the European common market through treaties with the European Union (Global Trade Tracker, 2017)."--Executive summary.
