Summary report on regional energy : overview studies conducted in conjunction with the Remote Community Demonstration Program / Technological Development Division.: R5-521/1984E-PDF

"At the outset of the Remote Community Demonstration Program, Energy, Mines and Resources Canada were cognizant of the lack of energy information for many of the remote communities in the northern parts of Canada’s provinces and in the territories. Consequently, several consulting firms were commissioned to conduct overview studies with the objective of providing current and comprehensive background data on remote community energy supply and demand as well as oil reduction and displacement opportunities. The overview reports are intended to serve as background information for applicants submitting RCDP proposals and for EMR in evaluating these proposals."--Overview studies.
