The service consists of a library of two- to five- minute taped messages which can be accessed by telephone. These tapes provide general pre-purchase advice on how to choose or buy a wide range of products and services, and give sources for more detailed information. The overall purpose of the study presented herein was to obtain a profile of Consumer Infotel usage"--Foreword.
