"A Time lapse video logger (TLVL) was developed initially as part of an effort to explain anomalies in the records of a logger which acoustically measures bottom depth. The system consists of several parts. There are to date three component assemblies mounted in separate submersible housings. These are a camera module which contains a Sony Digital8 camcorder and a microcontroller board, a battery can and a submersible light source"--Introduction.
