The purpose of this safety manual is to assist users in understanding the Explosives Regulations, 2013 (the Regulations) as they relate to special effect pyrotechnics and for the safe sale, use and storage of special effect pyrotechnics. This manual also provides a guide to the authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to assist them in approving special effect pyrotechnic events.
