This is the report on the Canadian government’s efforts to sustain endangered Canadian species of wildlife through RENEW (REcovery of Nationally Endangered Wildlife), Canada’s national recovery program. For each species targeted by RENEW, the report lists the responsible jurisdiction, the recovery team chair or contact, the status of the recovery strategy, the population estimate and trend, causes for concern, goals or objectives, and recent progress. The report also provides details of financial and in-kind contributions to RENEW, broken down by contributor and by species or group.
