Occupational injuries and diseases in Canada : injury rates and cost to the economy.HS21-4E-PDF

This publication is produced annually and analyzes injury and workers’ compensation data for Canadian industries in all provinces and territories. Statistics showing the total number of work-related injuries and fatalities are presented, as well as their cost to the Canadian economy. In addition, this publication calculates injury and fatality rates; the cost in dollars per injury claim and for all claims. Data is presented both nationally and for each individual province and territory.
