On-farm surface water supply and forage conditions monitoring ... seasonal review: A124-2E
Provides assessments of on-farm water supplies, potential forage production, and forage supplies on a monthly basis from May to November throughout the Prairie region. The information gathered helps communicate potential, emerging and current risks to the sector, including the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, agricultural organizations, and a wide range of provincial and local government agencies. The information gathered is critical when addressing issues facing the agriculture sector and for developing suitable policies and programs.
