Ending violence against aboriginal women and girls : empowerment, a new beginning / Irene Mathyssen, Chair.: XC71-1/411-01

The Standing Committee on the Status of Women began its study of violence against Aboriginal women in April 2009 with the stated intention to gather information about the extent of such violence, programs in place to address it, the root causes, and what steps could be taken to break the cycle.
