This manual outlines knowledge gained through a 3 year multi-partner research program to evaluate the potential for successful cage culture of halibut in the Bay of Fundy. Details are provided on site selection criteria and cage design, accessing and transporting juveniles, best husbandry practices (nutrition, feeding techniques, mortality dives, grading and harvesting, net cleaning and shading, and stocking densities) and economics and marketing.
