Fish catch data from Herschel Island, Yukon Territory, and other offshore sites in the Canadian Beaufort Sea, July and August 2007, aboard the CCGS Nahidik / [by] A.R. Majewski, ... [et al.].: Fs97-13/1231E
Biological sampling was conducted along five transects, and six additional stations, within the Canadian Beaufort Sea between July 31st and August 12th, 2007, as part of the Northern Coastal Marine Studies program. Fishing was conducted using either a benthic trawl or gill nets. The objective of the this study was to improve understanding of the biology and ecology of offshore demersal fish populations in the Beaufort Sea and to contribute data to support hydro-acoustic surveys and an ongoing multibeam mapping program.
