Investigation of juvenile Chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) use of off-channel and mainstem habitats in two Upper Fraser River watersheds / by G.S. Taccogna and J.E. Hillaby.: Fs97-4/2848E

Field studies were conducted in 1997 and 1998 to investigate the relative importance of off-channel and mainstem habitats to rearing stream-type chinook salmon. Two upper Fraser River tributaries, Baker Creek and Dome Creek, were repetitively surveyed in spring, summer and fall conditions to assess habitat utilisation in off-channel and mainstem habitats by all species of fish.
