Describes an abalone survey conducted in the northern Strait of Georgia in October 2009. The objectives of the survey were two fold: to estimate abalone abundance in the Strait of Georgia as part of ongoing monitoring of index sites and to determine abalone distribution in the northern portion of the Georgia Basin.
