Report on the Initiative for Democratic Education (IDEA) Women's Seminar / by Steve Stewart.: E2-418/2001E
This document reports on discussions held during two seminars in April 2001 in Québec City. Discussions centred on women’s education opportunities, female representation in education organizations, communications among the representatives of the various organizations in the women’s network, and the impact of the draft free trade area of the Americas agreement on female educators and students. Also discussed were the status of the Women in Education Conference and the Women, Globalization and Public Education Conference, both then in the planning stages.
