The intent of this document is to establish a common base of principles, practices and understanding between customer departments, contracting agency and suppliers, in selecting the print quality level most appropriate for the product and in the preparation of original material that will allow the quality level to be met. The guide describes the most appropriate procedure to be followed by both customer and supplier to ensure that the desired quality is achieved.--Introduction
