Concepts of privacy are changing fast in today’s world, and so are the factors that threaten it. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada monitors a broad range of challenges, and has identified four emerging issues that will have especially powerful impacts on privacy in the years ahead. This brochure describes the issues and their associated privacy risks, and explains what the Office is doing to better protect the privacy of Canadians.
