La société Alderon Iron Or (Alderon, ou « le promoteur ») propose le projet de minerai de fer Kami (Kami, ou « le projet »), qui comprend l’exploitation d’une mine de fer à ciel ouvert et la construction des infrastructures connexes dans l’ouest du Labrador, ainsi que d’une installation d’entreposage et de transfert du concentré au terminal de Pointe-Noire, dans le port de Sept-Îles, au Québec. Ce rapport présente l’analyse réalisée par l’Agence pour déterminer si le projet est susceptible d’entraîner des effets environnementaux négatifs importants.
