This guide to e-learning — the acquisition of knowledge and skills through the use of electronic information and communications technology — is directed at managers in the federal public service. It explains why e-learning has become so popular and how it affects public service managers, as well as the public service’s current e-learning initiatives. The guide offers advice about how managers can best take advantage of e-learning, and discusses some areas for which e-learning is especially well-suited.
