2001 national overview – National Pollutant Release Inventory : summary of 2001 data.: En49-16/2E-PDF

This report provides a brief overview of the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI), as well as new information and groupings for 2001. It summarizes substance reports for 202 of the 265 substances listed on the NPRI; examines NPRI-listed substances that are defined as toxic under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act; and discusses pollution prevention. A bibliography provides various government and Web references, as well as contact information for other resource agencies.
