Bycatch of Greenland halibut (Reinhartius hippoglossoides) in the offshore shrimp fishery / D.C. Orr … [et al.].: Fs70-1/2000-070E-PDF

This paper quantifies the impact of 1997-1999 2GHJ3K Greenland halibut bycatch, taken by the offshore (>500 tons) component of the shrimp fishing fleet. Analyses indicated that Greenland halibut were abundant and broadly distributed over the entire study area, and that the impact of present bycatch levels could not be detected.
