"Through a newer knowledge of nutrition, the live stock feeder realizes that the coarse grains and roughages seldom make a complete ration. The value of these feeds is increased considerably when the ration, whether it be designed for the production of milk or meat, is balanced with additional protein and other essential elements. ...
