Non-destructive determination of selected uranium and thorium-series radionuclides in biological samples / S.R. Joshi.: En13-5/86-68E-PDF
"This paper describes the development of a nondestructive technique for the measurement of lead-2l0, radium-226, thorium-228 and uranium-238 in biological samples. The radioisotope concentrations are derived from the measurements on the low-energy gamma-rays emitted by these radionuclides or their progenies. The technique has been extensively and satisfactorily used in establishing the levels of these radionuclides in fish samples from the Great Lakes and Langley Bay/Lake Athabasca"--Management perspective/Executive summary.
