"The 1985 Canadian Medical Device Directory (MDD) has been designed to provide purchasers of health care equipment and supplies with a comprehensive reference guide to sources of made-in-Canada products: The information listed was obtained through a survey of manufacturers. of medical devices in Canada. ... The MDD has been simplified and expanded over its predecessor 'Made-in-Canada Health Care Products'. It now includes almost 400 manufacturers and over 1,200 generic descriptions"--Introduction, 1985.
