The guide includes five Orders, 31 Families and 153 Species of corals that have been documented from the eastern North Pacific waters. It provides links to common database identification numbers (e.g. World Register of Marine Species, GFBio Database, and the RACE bottom trawl survey database). Pictures of specimens, spatial and depth distributions, notes on sample collections and general morphological descriptions are provided for each species or taxonomic grouping"--Abstract.
