"The primary objective of the POR is to gain a better understanding of the views of Canadians with respect to their broadcasting, online and telecommunications services and other matters of strategic importance for the CRTC. An essential component of the POR is to ensure the inclusion and representation of all Canadians. Specific focus is placed on ensuring sufficient participation from Anglophones, Francophones, Indigenous Peoples, Official Minority Language Communities (OLMC), Racialized Canadians, TSLGBTQ+ and those living in the North"--Research Objectives, page 4.
