"This Health Planning and Quality Management (HPQM) Activities evaluation reviewed program activities for the period from April 2010 to March 2015. The evaluation was undertaken in fulfillment of the requirements of the Financial Administration Act and the Treasury Board of Canada's Policy on Results (2016). The purpose of the evaluation was to assess the relevance and performance (effectiveness, economy and efficiency) of the HPQM cluster of activities across four components: health planning (governance), accreditation, health consultation/liaison, and health research. The evaluation findings will support decision-making for policy and program improvements"--Executive summary, page ii.
