Major projects inventory : issue 3 / prepared by: Office of Industrial and Regional Benefits, Department of Regional Industrial Expansion.: C2-72/1985E-PDF
"This publication is an update of the two previous inventories published in October, 1981, and March, 1983. It attempts to present a complete picture of existing and potential major project developments in Canada during the next decade. It has been produced primarily for the benefit of Canadian suppliers to major projects, but should prove helpful also to project sponsors and potential investors, to governments in Canada and to economic analysts and others concerned with projecting and analysing future levels of economic activity across the country. The Inventory contains information on Canadian projects which, in general, have a minimum investment value of $100 million in 1984 constant dollars and are, or could be, under way before 1995. The information was provided by the sponsors of each project. The Inventory covers construction and development projects in the fields of hydrocarbon extraction and processing, petrochemicals, electrical generation and distribution, transportation, industrial minerals, metal mining, primary metals, forest products and other material production. It also covers major public procurement or construction projects"--Introduction, page 3.
