520 |a"A regional peer review of the Continuation of the Southwest Nova Scotia/Bay of Fundy Herring Framework Part II: Operating Model Development was held on May 26-27, 2020, virtually using Microsoft Teams and was a continuation of the meeting held on January 21-22, 2020. As set out in the Terms of References (ToR) the focus was to review the structure and fitting of a reference case operating model (OM) that will be used as the basis for all of the operating models in the management strategy evaluation (MSE). A reference set of OMs was defined based on the uncertainties in Herring fishery dynamics identified during a workshop held in January 2020 (DFO 2023). Participation in this meeting included DFO Science, DFO Resource Management, Aboriginal Communities/Organizations, Non-Government Organizations, Fishing Industry, University of British Columbia modelling team, and external experts.
