"Using data from the 2018 Survey of Residential Facilities for Victims of Abuse (SRFVA), this Juristat presents information on residential facilities in Canada that are primarily mandated to serve victims of abuse, including women, men and accompanying children. The SRFVA replaces the Transition Home Survey (THS) which was conducted every two years from 1993 through 2014 (see Survey description). This article provides a profile of people who accessed residential facilities for victims of abuse, as well as a profile of those facilities"--Page 4.
