"This paper was prepared in support of the DFE submission to the Royal Commission on Electric Power Production in Ontario, 'Electric Power Production and Transmission in Ontario from an Environmental Perspective, May 10, 1977'. It was modified before incorporation into the submission in order to reduce the overall length of the submission and reflect Departmental policy. The paper is a review of environmental impacts of nuclear power production currently observed and those envisaged from future development of Canada's nuclear program"--Preface.
