"In order to improve our understanding and modelling of boundary-layer flow in complex terrain a series of field experiments to measure flow over isolated low hills is planned. The present report describes our search for suitable hill sites, some very preliminary measurements and model comparisons. These were all completed satisfactorily and planning is now well in hand for a more detailed study for February 1981"--Abstract.
