"This report focuses on the risks and vulnerabilities of buildings and their occupants to hazards such as wildfire, wind, extreme heat, flooding, and multi-hazard scenarios. The report also emphasizes individual building-level retrofits, including upgrades to the building envelope, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well asimprovements to the immediate surrounding property, rather than strategies that are to be implemented on a broader community scale.
