"This Transport Publication (TP) provides acceptable procedures and guidelines for developing scheduled maintenance instructions as part of a process for showing compliance with the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness requirements of aircraft being type certified in Canada or intended to be type certified in Canada. The scheduled maintenance instructions will be developed in accordance with either a Maintenance Review Board (MRB) process, a Maintenance Type Board (MTB) process or a manufacturer's internal process. The scheduled maintenance instructions will be published as either a Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR) or as manufacturers' recommendations and, as such, will be included within an aircraft's Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA)"--Purpose, page 2.
