"The National Trade Corridors Fund (NTCF) is a transfer payment program administered by TC whose purpose is to provide federal funding for projects and activities that strengthen the fluidity and resiliency of national trade corridors, including those related to Northern infrastructure. It helps support infrastructure projects in Canada that improve and expand the transportation system in the Arctic and Northern communities, increase the flow of trade between Canada and foreign nations, and helps withstand the effects of climate change"--page 4.
