"An extensive amount of literature on various issues relating to crime victims has become available over the past few years. This report consists of an overview and annotated bibliography of the literature which relates specifically to the needs of victims. Particular emphasis is placed on Canadian literature which addresses the needs of victims of wife abuse, child abuse/incest, and sexual assault, and on the elderly, natives, and rural residents as crime victims. Key references from other countries have also been included where the availability of Canadian literature was limited"--Abstract.
