Arctic salmon data collection procedures and laboratory methods manual / Karen M. Dunmall, Jessica N.J. Andrews, Darcy G. McNicholl, Laurissa Christie, Kevin Gully, and Michelle Gruben.: Fs97-6/3787E-PDF
"The Arctic Salmon program documents the harvest of Pacific salmon species, Atlantic salmon, and other unusual fish with communities and harvesters across the Canadian Arctic. Occurrences are primarily captured incidentally in subsistence fisheries targeting Arctic species; however, they are also occasionally provided opportunistically from other sources (e.g., sport fishing, commercial fishing, research projects). The program is built on partnerships with collaborators, rights-holders, co-management boards, decision-makers, and other organizations who guide and support research and monitoring efforts. This manual provides a comprehensive overview of the three central components to the data collection process with Arctic Salmon: community collaboration, sample collection, and data organization"--Abstract, page vii.
