"The research design of the Cognitive SIdlls Training Program follows a simple,pre/post design. Prior to the beginning of training, ail program participants areadministered a battery of measures designed to assess their level of cognitive sldllsand their attitudes toward criminal behaviour. Following the completion of theprogram, offenders are reassessed using the same instrument so that changes can bemeasured.
