"Canada-U.S. landings (tonnes and numbers-at-age) and standardized effort (h) have been compiled for Pacific cod (Gadus macrocephalus) from important area-time cells off southwest Vancouver Island, and in Queen Charlotte Sound and Hecate Strait. Landing statistics and age compositions were based on detailed records from Canadian interviewed landings. Age compositions were derived from length-frequency samples. Pie method is described for selecting the representative area-time cell, in each region, from which the representative LPUEs (landing per unit effort) are derived"--Abstract, page iii.
