Seventeen measured sections of Cambrian Mount Clark and Mount Cap formations, northern Mackenzie Mountains and Franklin Mountains, Northwest Territories / C. Serié, C.L. Bergquist, and L.J. Pyle.: M183-2/6148-1E-PDF
"The purpose of this report is to: 1) provide an overview of the regional stratigraphic framework of the Lower to Middle Cambrian succession; and 2) describe 17 measured sections (Figure 3). Some of the 17 sections have been re-visited and sampled by the Northwest Territories Geoscience Office to characterize source and reservoir potential of Cambrian strata (e.g., Pyle and Gal, 2009; Pyle and Gal, 2011; Pyle and Gal, work in progress). These collections are noted on the stratigraphic logs. The aim of this work is to improve the regional understanding of Cambrian stratal distribution, due to the known hydrocarbon potential of this interval northeast of the study area in Colville Hills"--Introduction, page 2.
