"As part of its involvement in the Global Futures Forum, Canada’s intelligence community hosted the Security and Prosperity series of workshops, held on 9 November 2009, as well as 8 March and 5 April 2010. Designed through a partnership amongst the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, Public Safety Canada and Export Development Canada, the series examined a broad range of consequences triggered by the financial crisis of 2008 and the related global economic downturn."--p. 3.
