  • "The regional offices of the Bank (of Canada) conducted a survey of 140 Canadian companies (representing all non-government sectors of the economy) to study the effects of restructuring (defined as a major change in the way firms do business)... (Abstract, p. v). The survey results were published previously by Kwan (2000). This paper draws heavily on that article and expands upon it by documenting the results of another study, providing more details of the methodology and discussing other issues related to the survey."--(Introduction, p. 1).
