Arctic char (Salvelinus alphinus) from Lake Hazen and Craig Lake in Quttinirpaaq National Park, Ellesmere Island, Nunavut were examined to: 1) determine the parasite species present in the char, 2) describe the differences in parasite community among known specimens of juveniles, small-, large-, and unknown-form char sampled from Lake Hazen, 3) determine whether any parasites were acquired from the marine environment, 4) describe the diet of the char, and 5) determine whether parasites affect gonad development.
