Discusses lighting techniques for photographing cultural objects. It demonstrates how lighting can shape and bring out the features of an object in a photograph – features that might not be seen if the photograph was taken in ambient light or with an on-camera flash. Fifteen lighting techniques are covered, all of which are illustrated with examples.
