"The Canadian Arctic Expedition marked a significant turning point in Canada’s Arctic territorial history and helped shape Canada into a nation, strong and free. The Canadian Arctic Expedition was the first major multi-disciplinary scientific research study undertaken in the Canadian Arctic.
