This environmental research study examines the water resources and ecosystem of the St. Lawrence River. The study looks at the issues of water requirements, availability, and use, and the impacts of fluctuating water flows and water levels on socio-economic and environmental factors such as aquatic vegetation and wetlands, reptiles and amphibians, fish communities, birds, mammals, and species at risk. Includes statistical charts, maps, drawings, and references.
